Who We Want on Our Team:
Chesapeake Electric seeks a highly organized and proactive Dispatcher to oversee and manage the daily dispatching, routing, and scheduling of our fleet operations. This role involves ensuring seamless coordination between departments, optimizing team efficiency, and providing outstanding customer communication. This is an in office role.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Efficient Dispatching and Coordination: Direct dispatching, routing, and scheduling of fleet vehicles; manage technician movements, including inbound and outbound clearances, follow-up tasks, and job readiness.
- Critical Call Management: Triage and prioritize daily calls by monitoring the dispatch board, matching technician skills to customer needs, and re-engaging unscheduled, on-hold, or canceled jobs to optimize scheduling.
- Technician Debrief: Ensure the processes and procedures have been followed to company standards and verify 100% customer satisfaction.
- Schedule and Process Oversight: Use ServiceTitan to schedule calls, review and prepare upcoming jobs, and complete daily, next-day, and two-week checklists to maintain operational consistency.
- Customer Communication: Provide timely updates to customers throughout the day, ensuring clear communication and satisfaction.
- Data-Driven Improvement: Analyze operational data to identify trends, recommend innovative solutions, and enhance dispatch processes and team performance.
- Post-Operation Review: Review prior days’ operations to address outstanding notes, resolve issues, and ensure seamless transitions.
What You’ll Need to Be Successful Day One:

- Proven experience in dispatching, scheduling, or operational coordination in the electrical industry
- Proficiency with ServiceTitan is preferred but will consider experience with similar dispatching software
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Strong communication skills for customer updates and team coordination
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on efficiency and customer satisfaction
- High school diploma or equivalent, with further education being a plus.
- Ability to successfully pass a background check
- A valid driver’s license and insurability
Compensation Overview
The total annual compensation for this position ranges from $56,000 to $80,000, which includes:
- Base Pay: $23–$28 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
- Performance Pay: An additional $7,800–$15,000 annually, dependent on meeting performance metrics and goals.
