Who We Want on Our Team:

Chesapeake Electric is looking for motivated, eager-to-learn Apprentice Electricians ready to launch their career in residential electrical work. As an apprentice, you’ll work alongside experienced Service Technicians to gain hands-on experience while building the skills and knowledge needed to become a top-performing electrician.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Assist Service Technicians on in-home electrical service calls, troubleshooting, and installations.
• Learn to establish customer trust and provide excellent service.
• Gain experience in estimating, material procurement, and basic sales techniques.
• Follow company safety standards and best practices on every job.
• Take part in training and mentorship programs to build your skills and career potential.

What You’ll Need to Be Successful Day One:

• A strong desire to learn and grow in a hands-on electrical career.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to follow instructions and work safely in a residential setting.
• Alignment with Chesapeake Electric’s core values (LIGHT).
• A valid driver’s license and the ability to be insurable.
• Willingness to pass a drug screening and background check.
