About You

You are a broadcast producer and video editor who is passionate about chess, live streaming, editing and video production. If you have experience with OBS (Open Broadcaster Software), video editing, and chess content creation, this is your opportunity to work on high-quality chess streams, tournaments, and content.


What You'll Do

  • Live Stream Production: Set up, manage, and produce high-quality chess event streams using OBS Studio.
  • Video Editing: Edit chess game highlights, instructional content, and promotional videos.
  • Broadcast Management: Oversee overlays, scene transitions, and real-time graphics during live broadcasts.
  • Technical Setup: Ensure smooth integration of chess boards, player cams, and commentary feeds.
  • Troubleshooting: Handle technical issues related to streaming, audio/video syncing, and internet connectivity.
  • Collaboration: Work with chess commentators, players, and marketing teams to enhance audience engagement.

Preferred Skills

  • Strong experience with OBS Studio and live streaming software.
  • Strong Video editing skills (Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar).
  • Basic knowledge of chess rules, tactics, and terminology.
  • Understanding of YouTube, Twitch, and other streaming platforms.
  • A keen eye for visual aesthetics, overlays, and branding.
  • Fast learner, adaptable, and able to work under pressure during live events.
  • Basic graphic design skills (Photoshop, After Effects, Canva) are a plus.

About the Opportunity
