About You

First off, you love to play chess and want to help others discover that same joy. Secondly, you are an experienced product manager who has worked in consumer tech and/or gaming to deliver delightful experiences for users. You can think algorithmically and understand how logic flows impact a product, but you also have an excellent intuition for exciting user experiences.

What you'll do

• Execute the product roadmap for social features, platform projects, and other key initiatives
• Manage existing projects and new issues to maximize team efficiency
• Evaluate cost/benefit of a variety of projects to guide effective prioritization
• Design and implement data-driven A/B experiments to understand user behavior, and deliver comprehensive analysis of results
• Create clear specifications and rapidly incorporate stakeholder feedback
• Orchestrate the product development lifecycle, coordinating with design, engineering, and QA teams to ensure excellent user experience

Preferred Skills

• 3+ years experience in product management
• Experience with social features such as friends and messaging
• Strong collaboration and communication skills working in a fully distributed team
• Sense of ownership and responsibility
• Ability to manage a lot of projects at once and cut through the noise to ensure optimal delivery
• Ability to collaborate with engineering on technical products
