About You
You are an analytical thinker with a passion for driving business growth through data-driven insights. With substantial experience in consumer-focused data analytics and a deep understanding of freemium subscription business models, you are adept at navigating complex data to extract meaningful insights on user acquisition, conversion, retention, engagement, monetization, and product interaction.
Your analytical skills are matched by a strategic mindset and an ability to communicate insights in a simple and compelling way. You are comfortable serving a diverse set of stakeholders, including business and product leaders.
You can also proactively create insights that get our teams working on the right things, faster. You find purpose in working for a company that values its product, business, and people, and you bring a seasoned blend of analytical, business, strategic, and technical skills to the table.
What you'll do
- Analyze data and generate insights to help grow our business and delight users, from the top of the funnel (marketing) to the middle of the funnel (engagement) to the bottom of the funnel (monetization).
- Work with Business and Engineering teams to create and analyze AB experiments.
- Help define and document our event taxonomy and work directly with product teams to define new events that are consistent with our overarching event structure and taxonomy.
- Work directly in Amplitude and BigQuery to extract truths and trends that inform and guide business and product decisions.
- Dive into our data to discover insights on player behavior across different cohorts, segments, and stages of the user lifecycle. Communicate and collect feedback on your findings from peers and business and product partners.
- Develop tools and best practices to ensure high data quality and identify and prevent errors before they reach production datasets.
- Collaborate with data analysts/scientists in building scalable and reproducible analyses, and communicate their insights with the company.
