Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager

Full-Time | On-Site | Christ Covenant Church – Atlanta, GA

Christ Covenant Church is seeking a mission-driven FP&A Manager to join our Operations Team. In this strategic role, you'll leverage data to drive ministry effectiveness, analyze financial performance, and guide operational decision-making across multiple departments.

What You’ll Do

• Lead monthly financial reviews (budget vs. actuals) and giving trend analysis
• Develop and track KPIs to measure ministry and operational performance
• Identify and implement process improvements to boost efficiency
• Manage the annual budgeting process
• Create dashboards, models, and reports for executive and ministry leaders
• Train staff on financial systems and best practices
• Ensure data integrity across all operational systems
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, HR, and ministry leaders

What We’re Looking For

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Financial Management, Operations Management, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field; applicable experience in lieu of degree
• Proven experience as an Operations Analyst (minimum 2 years)  or in a similar analytical role (2 years)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
• Proficiency in keys systems that include Rippling (Payroll, HR, Expenses, Bill-Pay), Martus, Overflow and Asana
• Proficiency in data analysis tools, techniques, and software, including advanced Excel functions and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data findings in a clear and concise manner
• Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and integrity
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
• Continuous learning mindset to stay updated with industry trends and emerging analytics
• Clear communicator with a solutions-oriented, detail-driven mindset
• Passion for church ministry and aligning finances with kingdom impact
