Operating out of Chadds Ford, PA with offices in San Jose, Boston, and Cambridge, UK, ClariMed is building a global, boutique professional services practice that provides human centered design, development and regulatory services to medical device and pharmaceutical manufacturers. With a grounding in quality by design, creativity and risk mitigation from concept inception through pilot lot delivery, we intend to reduce time to market, enhance product quality and convey a compelling risk/benefit positioning for our clients. We will achieve this by intentionally coupling the flexibility of a boutique offering with the breadth of services of a global business, while avoiding the conflicts that come with manufacturing and clinical operations.

Job Summary: The Business Operations & Administration Intern will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of ClariMed’s headquarters. This internship provides hands-on experience in business operations, facilities coordination, and executive administration, while offering exposure to a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Administrative & Business Support:  

  • Help prepare reports, presentations, and internal documentation 
  • Provide general administrative support to leadership and operations teams 
  • Assist with scheduling and coordinating internal meetings 
  • Support email communications, data entry, and document organization 
  • Support the executive team with various tasks, ensuring needs are met and the work environment runs smoothly 

 

Office Operations & Facilities Management:  

  • Assist in coordinating office supplies, equipment, and vendor relationships  
  • Support office maintenance requests and ensure a smooth daily workflow  
  • Help organize staff events and company-wide initiatives 

 

Event Planning & Coordination:  

  • Assist in planning and executing corporate meetings and company gatherings  
  • Coordinate logistics for in-office meetings, including catering and supplies  
  • Support outreach efforts for upcoming conferences and industry events 

 

Other:  

  • Be exceptionally organized and detail-oriented, managing multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining quality 
  • Be prepared to assist anyone in the organization when needed, showing flexibility and willingness to help 
  • Maintain a consistently positive attitude, particularly under pressure or when handling unexpected tasks 
  • Willingly contribute to any business-related tasks outside your core responsibilities. 
  • Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to work with all levels of the organization 
  • Be a team player with a positive attitude, fostering collaboration and a supportive work environment 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Communications, Marketing or a related field  
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Excellent written and verbal communication skills  
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities  
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Interest in business operations, corporate administration, or human factors engineering is a plus
