Why ClearStar Needs You:

The Drug and Occupational Health Results Manager ensures accurate, timely delivery of drug screens, clinical results, and medical reports. This role oversees result review, interpretation, reporting, and quality assurance, manages team performance, and establishes effective workflows. The Results Manager maintains compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and contractual standards, drives process improvements based on data and analysis, and builds strong partnerships with internal stakeholders and external customers to support operational performance and client satisfaction.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead accurate review, interpretation, and reporting of drug screens, clinical results, and occupational health outcomes in compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and contractual standards
  • Establish and maintain clear, defined workflows and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that ensure consistency, quality, and timely task completion aligned with internal and customer-facing Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Partner with Medical Review Officers (MROs) to facilitate timely review of non-negative drug results and ensure adherence to established timelines
  • Collaborate cross functionally to support customer retention, meet turnaround goals, and uphold service quality expectations
  • Conduct regular audits of MRO processes and resulting procedures to ensure compliance with quality standards and applicable regulatory requirements
  • Monitor, track, and analyze key performance indicators (accuracy, turnaround time, compliance, customer satisfaction) and recommend operational improvements based on data insights
  • Manage team performance through one-on-one meetings, performance goal setting, feedback, coaching, and career development support
  • Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks, streamline procedures, and drive continuous improvement to reduce errors and expedite results delivery
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for internal stakeholders and external customers on result interpretation, reporting obligations, and compliance questions

What You'll Need:

  • 5 or more years of progressive experience in occupational health services, drug testing program administration, or similar regulated environments
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and supervise teams, and work collaboratively with cross-functional partners in a remote environment
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and clinical result interpretation
  • Knowledgeable of Federal and State drug testing regulations
  • Proficiency with result management systems, data reporting tools, and performance metrics
  • Clear, effective communication skills with strong analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Professional service orientation with a commitment to quality and compliance
  • A dedicated home office space that is noise- and distraction-free with access to a reliable and secure high-speed internet connection. Cable or fiber internet connections (at least 75mbps download/10mbps upload) are preferred, as satellite connections often cannot support the technologies used to perform day-to-day task.
