Our team of experts helps businesses leverage AWS to transform their operations, enhance security, and drive innovation. We seek a dynamic and results-driven Account Executive with AWS expertise to join our team and drive growth in our professional services division.

The role of an Account Executive at Cloudtech involves hunting for outbound leads, expanding our client base, and increasing revenue by identifying and cultivating relationships with new clients while nurturing existing accounts. Your expertise in AWS and cloud technologies will be utilized to effectively position our professional services offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Acquisition: Identify and target potential clients who could benefit from our AWS professional services. Develop and execute strategic plans to acquire new clients in various industries. 
  • Establish Client Relationships: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high client satisfaction and trust. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their unique needs and aligning our services to meet their business objectives.
  • AWS Solution Positioning: Collaborate with technical teams and solution architects to tailor AWS solutions that address clients' specific challenges and objectives. Effectively communicate the value proposition of our services to clients.
  • Revenue Growth: Consistently meet or exceed sales and revenue targets by identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities within client accounts. Develop and execute strategies to maximize revenue from existing clients.
  • Technical Expertise: Maintain an understanding of AWS services, best practices, and emerging trends in cloud computing. 
  • Reporting and Forecasting: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and revenue forecasts. Provide regular reports and updates to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of at least three years in B2B sales, preferably in the professional services or cloud computing industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
  • Knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and cloud technologies.
  • Strong understanding of AWS architecture, security, compliance, and cost optimization.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Results-driven with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Preferred AWS sales experience
