The Digital Content Specialist is responsible for the management, implementation, and review of content and assets provided by the client. The role will require the ability to organize large amounts of content and other assets, including images and documents, and upload them in an orderly fashion within WordPress and related content management systems. When loading content, the role will also need to use the latest web trends and apply best practices that support Search Engine Optimization (SEO). This role supports both website and mobile app experiences, requiring a strong visual and design-oriented mindset to ensure content and imagery align with approved layouts and templates. The role is responsible for reviewing websites and apps to ensure a quality product is delivered prior to launch, documenting issues found during quality checks, and communicating with the necessary team members to resolve them. This position is pivotal in delivering high-quality digital experiences and plays an important role in our overall product implementation process.
 

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES: 

• Manage client-provided content and apply it to websites in a clean, consistent, and organized method.
• Upload and format content within WordPress and related CMS platforms.
• Crop, resize, and optimize imagery to fit approved design layouts while maintaining visual consistency.
• Support template-based mobile app design updates using provided design tools and guidelines.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously to ensure deadlines are met in a fast-paced environment.
• Troubleshoot and root-cause website and app design-related issues.
• Apply SEO best practices during content implementation, including structure, imagery, and content formatting.
• Employ and educate clients on best practices for web content and SEO.
• Review requirements, specifications, and graphical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Conduct quality assurance checks of newly built websites and apps, clearly documenting any issues found and communicating them back to the appropriate team.
• Liaise with internal teams (e.g., developers and project managers) to identify client requirements.
• Stay up-to-date with evolving web, design, and testing trends and tools.                 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 

• Proficiency with CSS and HTML Knowledge. 
• Experience working within WordPress or similar CMS platforms.
• Experience with Figma or similar collaborative design tools preferred.

• Proficient skill using computers, tablets and mobile devices. 

• Strong knowledge of software or website QA methodologies, tools and processes. 

• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases. 

• Attention to detail and ability to work through large scale projects consistently. 

• Positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow. 

• 4 Year College Degree - Preferred.  

• 1+ years of experience. 

• Working knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategies and best practices. 

• General understanding of Google Analytics. 

• Proven work experience in software or website product quality assurance. 

• Proficiency with Photoshop and other Adobe Products. 

• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process is a plus.
