What is the Role?: We are seeking outgoing, energetic, kind, dedicated people to be our “Play Leaders” here at Cocomelon Playdate. Everyday your role could switch from leading and overseeing the experience in the family play center, co- hosting fun parties and events, hopping into costume to entertain families as a Cocomelon character, or character guide, working in our retail space or even working behind the scenes to help make everything happen! Your enthusiasm and commitment to providing a memorable guest experience is your main objective. You must love spending time around young children and families helping to create the best time ever!

Guest Experience:

• You are the leader of fun! Your goal everyday is to create the best experience for our young guests and their families, in Cocomelon land there is no such thing as a bad day! 
• Inspiring your team as a Play Leader

• Contributes in creating an inclusive, respectful, positive workplace 
• Hopping into our character costumes and performing for our young guests and their families. 
• Performing alongside the costume character as the guide in front of audiences. 
• Providing amazing guest service and assisting with operations during Birthday parties and special events. 

Operations & Visuals:

• Retail Store services: guest service, operations, store visuals, inventory, loss prevention, register functions, opening and closing procedures
• Play Center services: high level of guest experience expectations, safety and health procedures, ticketing assistance, consistent performance, party and event participation, inventory and supplies replenishment, register functions

Communication: 

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Is open to feedback and is comfortable giving feedback when necessary

• Welcome and help to train new members of the team 
• Alerting management to health and safety concerns 
• Collaborate with team members through games, activities, contests

Requirements: 

• 1 year of experience in one or more of the following fields: retail, hospitality, family entertainment centers. 
• Must be 18 years of age or older and can lawfully work in the United States.

• Flexible schedule available to work evenings, weekends and holidays. Weekends are required.

• Passionate about working with young children and their families, making every minute count. 
• Perform as a costume character, or costume character guide 

• Solution oriented 
• Positive, enthusiastic attitude 
• Must be able to lift or carry items weighing between 0-50 pounds 
• Must be able to stand, bend, kneel, reach, push/pull, walk, and squat during scheduled shifts. 
• Must be able to climb through play structures. 
• Reliable transportation to work.
• Bi-lingual is a plus 
• Consent to a background check after job offer is extended
