About the role:
We’re looking for a passionate, talented Trust & Safety Manager who will ensure the safety of our platform. Safety is the #1 concern among daters when it comes to using dating apps. In this important role, you will be responsible for leading the Trust & Safety team. You will monitor Safety KPIs, detect bad actor patterns, conduct investigations, craft new ways to block bad actors from infiltrating our system, and implement innovative processes & tools so that we can remain on top of bad actors in this ever-changing, dynamic world of trust & safety. You will influence and work collaboratively across Product, Engineering, Customer Experience, and Legal/Operations teams to ensure we remains the #1 trusted dating app among daters.

What you'll be responsible for: 

  • Define Safety KPI targets that measure the state of platform safety. Set appropriate targets based on business goals
  • Monitor, detect, and block bad actor patterns globally. Conduct timely investigation and implement new ways to prevent bad actors from entering the system
  • Design & create effective operational infrastructure that results in proactive and reactive bad actor and fraudulent activities detection. Ensure the right tool, technology, and process that best supports team goals
  • Ensure the Trust & Safety team is staffed and trained. Effectively manage & develop the safety team, and combine technology, tracking & measurement to increase productivity
  • Stay on top of trends & technology in the trust & safety world to inform roadmap and strategy. Work with engineers to implement any new system and workflow necessary to stay on top of our safety needs
  • Partner with product and engineering teams to advise on rollout of new features that impact safety of members, advocating for safe and trusted experience on the platform
  • Stay on top of the Safety & Trust policy changes in the respective country and work with Ops to ensure Company’s policy is best of class and legally compliant
  • Manage relationships with third parties
  • Manage team budget in partnership with finance

Qualifications we're looking for:

  • 5+ years of experience working in the technology industry
  • 3+ years working in Trust & Safety area
  • 3+ years of experience owning and driving KPIs
  • 2+ years of experience as a people manager
  • Experience designing and setting up operational infrastructure
  • Experience presenting investigation results to executive staff with corresponding business implications and recommendations
  • Expert analytical skill and investigative mindset
  • Expert project management skill
  • Proactive & clear communication skill, both asynchronous and synchronously
  • Experience working with remote team a huge plus

The pay range for this role is:

130,000 - 154,000 USD per year (Remote - Singapore)
