Job description

Coffee Meets Bagel is looking for a talented Interim Senior Product Manager to help design the future of dating while our Lead Product Manager is on maternity leave. We’re looking for a candidate to start immediately and be available until the end of June 2025 at a minimum. The position may extend beyond.


The job will entail executing on product initiatives already defined as well as shaping new initiatives and strategy by working closely with the CEO, Finance, Design, Engineering and CX team. 


Responsibilities

  • Execute Product Initiatives: Drive the execution of product initiatives already outlined in the roadmap, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
  • Shape New Product Initiatives: Collaborate closely with the CEO and cross-functional teams (Finance, Design, Engineering, and CX) to identify opportunities, define new product initiatives, and contribute to the overall product strategy.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a key liaison between teams to align product priorities, gather feedback, and ensure a smooth handoff from ideation to implementation.
  • Data-Driven Decision-Making: Partner with the Product Analyst to run A/B tests and interpret results using Mode. Use insights to validate hypotheses, optimize product features, and guide decision-making throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Define and Track KPIs: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of product initiatives and continuously optimize for better outcomes.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Regularly update stakeholders, including the CEO and leadership team, on product progress, key milestones, and any adjustments to strategy.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement by regularly assessing processes, gathering feedback, and implementing best practices to improve product delivery and team efficiency.


Qualifications

  • 8+ Years of Product Management experience: Proven track record of leading product initiatives across the entire product lifecycle, with at least 3 years working on consumer-facing products.
  • Experience in Consumer Mobile Apps: Deep understanding of mobile app development and design, including knowledge of iOS and Android platforms, app store dynamics, and mobile-specific user experiences.
  • Data-Driven Mindset: Strong proficiency in working with Product Analysts to run A/B tests, analyze results using tools like Mixpanel, Amplitude, Looker, Mode or similar, and make data-informed decisions to optimize product performance.
  • Strategic Thinking and Execution: Ability to shape product strategy while ensuring seamless execution of product initiatives through collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Customer-Centric Mindset: Deep empathy for user needs, with a strong focus on delivering products that solve real problems, enhance user satisfaction, and create value for both users and the business.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate across multiple teams, including Design, Engineering, Finance, and CX, ensuring alignment on product goals and priorities.
  • Technical Literacy: Familiar with mobile technologies, agile development practices, and capable of collaborating with engineering teams to ensure technical feasibility and scalability of product features.
  • Problem-Solving Mindset: Demonstrated ability to proactively identify challenges, assess trade-offs, and implement solutions that balance user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility.
  • Self-starter, with ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, drive change through influence, and collaborate effectively with a variety of cross-functional stakeholders.
