The HR Assistant will play a vital role in connecting passionate talent with purpose-driven aviation careers. You'll support recruiting, onboarding, and HR operations that keep our workforce mission-ready and fully supported.


WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Support recruiting efforts by posting jobs, scheduling interviews, screening candidates, and assisting with job fairs.
  • Conduct initial phone screens for technical roles across Field Maintenance, Commercial Operations, and Flight Operations.
  • Manage all aspects of onboarding: background checks, drug screenings, A&P license verifications, and digital file compliance.
  • Facilitate new hire orientation and ensure documentation is completed for Safety Sensitive Employees.
  • Maintain applicant and employee records within Rippling (our HR software system), ensuring clean workflows and timely updates.
  • Respond to employee and candidate inquiries with professionalism and care.
  • Process employment verifications, manage the HR inbox, and support termination documentation and unemployment claims.
  • Collaborate on projects that improve HR processes, employee experience, and operational efficiency.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

  • 2+ years of HR experience, ideally in recruiting, onboarding, or systems administration (preferred).
  • Detail-oriented and organized—able to manage several administrative processes at once.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and willingness to learn tools like Rippling.
  • Strong written communication and a customer service mindset.
  • Understanding of the employee lifecycle and the value of compliant, scalable HR practices.

BONUS POINTS:

  • Experience supporting aviation, field service, or safety-sensitive roles.
  • Exposure to social media or recruitment marketing efforts.
