About your new role:

CommandLink is seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Accountant to join our fast-paced and growing Finance team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in the monthly close cycle and own critical accounting processes across accounts receivable (AR), revenue recognition, and month end close. You will collaborate cross-functionally to ensure timely, accurate financial reporting that supports decision-making across the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Ensure timely and accurate revenue and AR entries in compliance with ASC 606
• Assist the Billing team with transaction processing and reconciliation
• Help track and resolve customer billing issues and case escalations
• Maintain accurate documentation and audit trails for revenue transactions and adjustments
• Review and reconcile Stripe transaction reports against internal billing systems
• Assist with accounts payable: invoice entry, payment runs, and vendor account reconciliation, when necessary
• Manage the fixed asset disposal process and maintain asset records
• Support international payroll and benefit processes
• Support preparation of financial statements, audit schedules, and internal reports
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial policies
• Identify and implement improvements in financial reporting and automation

What you'll need for success:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
• 2–4+ years of professional accounting experience
• Experience in telecom, software, or IT services industries a plus
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite or similar ERP/accounting systems
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, lookups, large dataset analysis)
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
• A collaborative team player with a customer-first mindset
• Passionate about working in a fast-moving, startup-like environment

Commandlink hires individuals in a number of geographic regions and the pay ranges listed reflect the cost of labor across these regions. The base pay for this position as displayed at the bottom of the job description is a range based on our lowest geographic region, up to our highest geographic region. Pay is based on location among other factors, such as skill-set, experience, and qualifications held.
