About your new role:


You’ll be leading a dedicated team of Command|POD engineers to deliver best in class managed network, security and unified communications services. Your technical expertise will empower you to handle enterprise IT infrastructure design and deployment while directing your team towards ensuring customer satisfaction. 


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead and mentor a Command|POD team of 6-10 engineers, fostering technical excellence and collaboration. 
  • Oversee the design and implementation of SD-WAN, SASE, UCaaS, and network connectivity solutions using technologies from partners like Fortinet, Cato Networks, and Cisco. 
  • Provide expert-level troubleshooting for complex network, security, and voice issues, ensuring adherence to industry-leading SLAs. 
  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for enterprise clients, conducting service reviews and proposing optimization strategies. 
  • Develop and refine managed services processes, leveraging AI-driven tools and automation for operational efficiency. 
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to enhance the Command|Link SaaS Platform and contribute to new service offerings. 
  • Train and assist engineers with complex issues, creating procedures and training materials as needed. 
  • Interface with vendors to resolve support issues and keep customers happy with superior support. 

What you'll need for success:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 
  • 7+ years of experience in network engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within a managed services or IT outsourcing environment. 
  • Proven ability to lead diverse technical teams and deliver high-quality managed services for enterprise clients. 
  • Expertise in SD-WAN, SASE, firewalls (e.g., Fortinet NGFW, Meraki, Versa), routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), and unified communications (e.g., MaxUc). 
  • Proficiency with network monitoring tools, ITSM platforms, and SIEM systems for proactive management. 
  • Strong understanding of VoIP, QoS, and contact center technologies. 
  • Preferred Certifications: Cisco CCNP/CCIE (Enterprise or Security), Fortinet NSE 7, Cato Networks Certified Professional, ITIL Foundation. 
  • Excellent communication and customer-facing skills, with the ability to build trust and resolve issues effectively. 
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Commandlink hires individuals in a number of geographic regions and the pay ranges listed reflect the cost of labor across these regions. The base pay for this position as displayed at the bottom of the job description is a range based on our lowest geographic region, up to our highest geographic region. Pay is based on location among other factors, such as skill-set, experience, and qualifications held.

The pay range for this role is:

70,000 - 100,000 USD per year (Remote (United States))
