Position Summary


We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Strategic Pricing Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for developing and implementing pricing strategies that drive cost savings, improve negotiation outcomes, and optimize procurement decisions. The ideal candidate has strong quantitative skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to work cross-functionally to support contract negotiations and supplier pricing strategies.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute pricing strategies to support contract negotiations for product procurement.
  • Analyze supplier pricing models and cost structures to identify opportunities for cost savings and improved terms.
  • Collaborate with procurement, finance, and operations teams to align pricing strategies with business objectives.
  • Conduct market research and benchmarking to assess competitive pricing and industry trends.
  • Support vendor negotiations by providing data-driven pricing recommendations and profitability analyses.
  • Monitor and evaluate supplier pricing performance, making strategic recommendations for adjustments.
  • Develop pricing models and tools to enhance negotiation effectiveness and decision-making.
  • Assist in the creation of pricing proposals, ensuring alignment with financial goals and procurement strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in pricing strategy, procurement, contract negotiations, or a related role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Proficiency in Excel and experience with data visualization or pricing tools.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work across multiple departments.
  • Detail-oriented with a strategic mindset and a results-driven approach.
  • Experience in supplier negotiations and cost analysis is a plus.

Commandlink hires individuals in a number of geographic regions and the pay ranges listed reflect the cost of labor across these regions. The base pay for this position as displayed at the bottom of the job description is a range based on our lowest geographic region, up to our highest geographic region. Pay is based on location among other factors, such as skill-set, experience, and qualifications held.

The pay range for this role is:

80,000 - 110,000 USD per year (Remote - United States)
