馃殌 About Your New Role
The Managed Security Director (Security Overlay) is a strategic leader responsible for driving growth, technical alignment, and market positioning for the SOCaaS/MDR/XDR portfolio. Reporting to the VP of Solutions Engineering, this role acts as a revenue catalyst and technical advocate, bridging Product, Sales, and Marketing to enhance adoption and foster innovation in a highly competitive cybersecurity landscape. The ideal candidate is a seasoned Cybersecurity engineering expert capable of translating deep technical expertise into market-facing strategies and partner enablement.
馃攽 Key Responsibilities
路 馃寪 Drive strategic growth and market positioning for the SOCaaS/MDR/XDR portfolio, with a deep focus on security revenue targets.
路 馃 Collaborate with Product, Software Engineering, Marketing, and Sales to align on feature enhancements and prioritize roadmap execution.
路 馃幆 Create and deliver impactful technical presentations and sales materials that resonate with customers and build trust and rapport.
路 馃搱 Lead co-selling motions with TSD and partner channels, ensuring revenue impact and partner alignment, and driving deals deep into the sales funnel.
路 馃摙 Execute partner education, sales enablement, and awareness campaigns to elevate platform adoption, with a proactive approach rather than reactive adjustments.
路 馃敆 Build and maintain strategic relationships across internal teams and key stakeholders, championing security program evangelism.
路 馃挕 Serve as a cybersecurity evangelist through webinars, social media, and public-facing engagements to solidify market presence.
路 鈿欙笍 Influence detection strategies and product enhancements through continuous engagement with Product and Software Engineering, and leverage channel webinars to drive product understanding and visibility.

Commandlink hires individuals in a number of geographic regions and the pay ranges listed reflect the cost of labor across these regions. The base pay for this position as displayed at the bottom of the job description is a range based on our lowest geographic region, up to our highest geographic region. Pay is based on location among other factors, such as skill-set, experience, and qualifications held.
Compensation includes a competitive base salary plus commission, with an On-Target Earnings (OTE) of $175,000+.
The pay range for this role is:
120,000 - 160,000 USD per year (Remote (United States))
