About your new role:

As a Senior Network Engineer (Versa), you play a pivotal role in not only supporting new and existing ISP/MSP business customers but also in leading, mentoring, and training other NOC Engineers within the team. Your responsibilities extend beyond the technical aspects of managing business data circuits, SDWAN Networks, VoIP services, VPNs, Managed Routers, and Firewalls. In addition to your hands-on involvement in resolving complex issues, you will take on a leadership role in guiding and supervising other engineers. Your role involves the design and delivery of various custom-managed services, and you will actively contribute to the development of best practices and standard operating procedures. This role is instrumental in the professional growth and success of the NOC engineering team, ensuring a high level of expertise and efficiency in delivering exceptional service to our clients. This is a Full-Time 100% Remote opportunity.  

No travel to customer locations is required. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working with customers to resolve any service problems: SDWAN, Internet,
  • Understanding of basic LAN configurations (Routers / Firewalls) and Microsoft operation systems
  • Handling new customer-managed service provisioning support functions Interfacing with vendors to resolve support issues
  • Owning support issues from start to finish
  • Keeping customers happy with superior support and a level head--going the extra mile
  • Train and assist other engineers with complex issues

What you'll need for success:

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent 
  • 5-7 years of related experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Cisco CCNA and CCNP certification 
  • Command line experience with Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper 
  • Versa SDWAN/Firewall configuration experience
  • Understanding and experience with BGP, OSPF, and VRRP
  • Experience with basic routers/firewalls and NAT (Network Address Translation)
  • Experience with COS/QOS
  • Experience with designing networks
  • SOC2 knowledge and understanding
  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task assignments and follow process flow are required
  • Must have excellent communication and analytical skills to understand and resolve customer issues effectively. This would include being comfortable talking with Clients.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
