Even in 2024, not only young people but also adults are shockingly ignorant when it comes to basic sexual education. We need people who can decipher truth from fiction in our video scripts for an upcoming series on sex ed. With a mix of the weird, wondrous, and utterly normal realm of human sexuality, these videos will make sex ed accessible to a wide audience.

Location: Remote, US-based
Pay: $25/hour
Term: July - September: fact checking approx. 2 1800-word scripts per week; December - April: fact checking approx. 1 10-minute video per week
What you'll do:
As our freelance fact checker, you'll be asked to review scripts, videos, infographics, and animations; make sure all the info is right and communicated correctly; cite reliable sources; and call out any grey areas to your editor.
We want to hear from you if you have:
Formal fact checking experience. Ideally, you're already well-versed in identifying what's correct from incorrect quickly and know how to pinpoint questionable content efficiently.
