Position description

The Client Development Specialist is a key member of our Growth team and responsible for delivering new revenue and offering an exceptional brand experience for Intended Parent exploring working with ConceiveAbilities. The Client Development Specialist is responsible for converting prospective intended parents into clients, through thoughtful, empathetic and consultative sales process, displaying strong subject matter expertise and empathy. The Client Development Specialist serves as each client’s first impression of the company, and exemplifies professionalism at all times, with warm, informative and timely client interactions, always acting with strong tact and judgement. The right candidate has a proven track record of achieving sales targets, forging creative partnerships to drive leads into a sales funnel and is constantly refining processes to improve conversion.


Position responsibilities

Revenue Growth

  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
  • Manage the full sales cycle with accountability for forecasting, pipeline and deal management
  • Write retainers with qualified clients, establishing a strong understanding of and interest in the Company’s services
    • Conduct educational consultations with intended parents (potential clients) about the agency’s services 
    • Establish and maintain strong communication with intended parents leading them through the first steps of their family-building journey with ConceiveAbilities
    • Ask good questions to develop a strong understanding of the clients’ needs and expectations, always striving to move client opportunities forward to a successful close
  • Demonstrate command and expertise of our unique differentiators, staying informed about competing products and services and staying current on all aspects of the company’s services and fees
  • Be knowledgeable about fertility centers and ancillary professionals involved in the surrogacy process to provide a broad perspective in interactions with intended parents

Pipeline Generation & Conversion Optimization

  • Improve conversion rates through constant refinement of our processes, testing new initiatives and executing re-engagement strategies with never converted leads 
  • Plan and host educational webinars, community meetings, and in-person events to further inform Intended Parents of our value proposition and deliver a strong brand experience 
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings as needed
  • Develop new and creative ways to diversify ConceiveAbilities lead portfolio and tap into new markets
  • Collaborate with Sales Enablement and Marketing to ensure collateral and tools are on-point and up-to-date

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of direct sales experience in a quota carrying/closing role
  • Prior demonstrated experience nurturing opportunities and driving growth in a service or B2C environment
  • Experience with customer journey mapping toward customer acquisition
  • Fluency with a wide array of sales and marketing tools 
  • Experience with digital and CRM work environments, specifically Salesforce, Google Workspace, RingCentral and Trello, and DocuSign
  • Previous experience within the fertility or surrogacy market a major plus
