About the role

Provide technical support to the Air Force (AF) ‘Core’ engine system, CEMS, AF Life Cycle Management Center, Propulsion Integration Division. Technical support consists of systems development and sustainment. Our program uses hybrid Agile Software Development for software modifications or to correct production issues and for new development/enhancements. The primary focus is daily sustainment for CEMS operational capabilities, which is a Web/Oracle system architecture in AWS.

What you'll do

• Update and maintain system code and documentation, integration, testing and configuration management.
• Develop software and releases using the methodology approved in the DoD Software Engineering Plan for deployment to Cloud one environment.
• Conduct and document peer reviews of the system design documents, code, and test cases and reviews interface requirements agreements, test scripts, and other required engineering documents so products meet the requirements specifications.
• Coordinate with Lead Technical Architect to seamlessly support sustainment and development efforts.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a Application Developer
• 8+ years of experience with Java, Oracle, SQL, Junit, Tapestry, JavaScript, XML,  PL/SQL, Git, RESTful Framework, SOAP-based web services, XMLs, AWS CI/CD services and applicable software and utilities.
• US Citizenship with an Active Secret Clearance
• IAT Level II certification (Security +)

• AGILE Environment experience
• Possess USAF functional experience
