Overview:


As the Manager, People Operations, you serve as a critical driver of HR operational excellence at Concert Health. In this high-impact role, you balance day-to-day execution with strategic planning, overseeing a broad range of initiatives that enable organizational scale, ensure compliance, and strengthen the employee experience.


You lead cross-functional HR project management, drive system optimization, manage complex employee relations matters, and own the full lifecycle of leave and accommodation (LOA/ADA) processes. In partnership with the Chief People Officer, you also contribute to the development of a strategic, future-ready total rewards platform. Your work is foundational to Concert’s ability to grow thoughtfully and sustainably—ensuring our People infrastructure remains as mission-driven and high-performing as the rest of our organization.


Key Responsibilities:


People Operations Strategy & Execution

  • Lead cross-functional HR project management, ensuring timely, consistent execution of initiatives across the employee lifecycle.
  • Drive process design and optimization to streamline onboarding, offboarding, compliance, and other HR workflows.
  • Partner closely with the Chief People Officer to operationalize strategic HR priorities and scale People Ops infrastructure for growth.

Systems & Technology Leadership

  • Serve as the owner of all HR systems, including the HRIS, payroll, performance tools, and benefits platforms.
  • Identify system gaps and lead upgrades, integrations, or vendor transitions as needed.
  • Ensure data accuracy, process integrity, and reporting capabilities to support people analytics and leadership visibility.

Employee Relations & Compliance

  • Lead the employee relations function with a fair, thoughtful, and proactive approach.
  • Support managers and leaders in coaching, performance conversations, and navigating difficult situations.
  • Monitor and implement state and federal labor law changes, ensuring legal and ethical compliance across jurisdictions.

LOA, ADA & Accommodation Management

  • Own and administer all Leave of Absence (LOA) and ADA accommodation processes, including documentation, tracking, manager coaching, and third-party coordination.
  • Create a clear, compliant, and compassionate employee experience for individuals navigating leave or accommodation needs.

Total Rewards Development

  • Support the Chief People Officer in building a strategic, scalable, and equitable Total Rewards framework.
  • Help implement and manage programs related to recognition, well-being, and compensation transparency.
  • Build and grow internal wellness programs and strategies to support a healthier and more highly engaged workplace.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in HR/People Operations, with increasing responsibility and a focus on execution.
  • Deep expertise in HR systems, project management, employee relations, and compliance.
  • Proven success navigating LOA/ADA programs and state/federal regulations.
  • Demonstrated ability to build, improve, or scale People Ops systems in high-growth or multi-state companies.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to align HR initiatives to broader organizational goals.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in healthcare, healthtech, or mission-driven organizations.
    Exposure to compensation strategy or benefits planning; passion for building Total Rewards platforms.
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) a plus.

Schedule:

  • Full-time, 40 hours per week.
  • Remote position with occasional travel (up to 10%).
