Victorian Select Entry Tutor

Description

We are thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for a passionate, committed and organised individual to join us as a Victorian Select Entry Tutor at Contour TestPrep.

This is not just an ordinary tutoring position; it's an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of Year 7 and 8 students seeking entry into some of Victoria's most highly sought-after high schools. Many of these students feel daunted and overwhelmed by the Select Entry exam, and are misguided throughout their preparation due to a lack of effective support.

In this highly sought-after Select Entry Tutor role, you will have the chance to mentor and guide these students, providing them with the knowledge and confidence they need to excel in their exams. From teaching small group classes to mentoring students 1-on-1, your contribution will ensure our Select Entry Program is a personalised and attentive community for our students. You'll be given access to high-quality teaching materials and will be required to do minimal administrative tasks, allowing you to focus primarily on what you do best - tutoring and inspiring students to reach their full potential!

Who Are We

We are Victoria’s largest and fastest-growing tutoring company with 6000+ students and 200+ team members having joined us since our founding in 2020. Our TestPrep programs are the newest addition to the Contour Group, with comprehensive, innovative and results-driven support to reshape how students and their families prepare for key tests in their educational journey.

In November 2025, we are launching our Victorian Selective Entry program, which is designed to empower students to gain entry into some of Victoria's most prestigious and highly sought-after high schools. These schools include Melbourne High School, Mac.Robertson Girls' High School, Nossal High School, Suzanne Cory High School

Our tutoring is characterised by engaging small-group lessons, abundant resources and 24/7 support, across our five Victorian campuses - Point Cook, Narre Warren, Glen Waverley, Box Hill, and Melbourne CBD. Our students achieve outstanding results with personalised attention in classes of optimal size for maximum learning impact.

Our growth is a testament to our dedication to providing ALL our students and parents with a premium learning experience (from 24/7 personal support to on-demand resources) and our commitment to helping them achieve their goals. We were listed as one of the Fastest Growing Startups by the Australian Financial Review three years running (2022, 2023, 2024), and we're continuing to multiply year over year! It's our vision to reshape education, one student at a time.

    • NOTE: You will specialise into one subject, so you will not be required to do all three.
  • 1-on-1 Consultations: Provide personalised consultations with students and parents to evaluate student progress, identify areas for improvement, and make a tailored improvement plan to accelerate their development.
