Assistant Accountant to keep finance operations running smoothly. From AR and AP to reconciliations and month-end support, you’ll be hands-on with the numbers while learning directly from experienced finance leaders. This is the role for someone who wants to sharpen their accounting skills, contribute ideas, and grow as the business scales.

What You’ll Do

• Accounts Receivable: Generate invoices, reconcile receipts in Xero, manage aged debtors
• Accounts Payable: Process invoices and payment runs, liaise with suppliers, prepare weekly schedules and reconciliations
• Month-End Support: Reconcile bank accounts and corporate cards, assist with accruals, prepayments and journals
• Process Improvement: Maintain accurate finance data, support automation and workflow improvements

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce or similar
• 2+ years in an accounting or assistant accountant role
• Proficiency in Xero and Excel (pivots and lookups are a must) - bonus points if you bring AI prowess with you!
• Strong grasp of accounting principles
• Accuracy, attention to detail and proactive attitude

Bonus points if you have:

• CA or CPA (or working towards these)
• Experience in education, SaaS, or startups
