Copado

Director, Talent Acquisition

About Copado

Copado is the leading DevOps platform for Salesforce, revolutionizing how the world's largest organizations achieve success in their Salesforce deployments. Our mission is to accelerate the Salesforce development lifecycle, support digital transformation, and deliver unparalleled value to our customers. We continuously innovate, ensuring our platform meets the evolving needs of Salesforce developers and operations professionals.

About the Role

Copado is looking for a Director, Talent Acquisition to lead our recruiting function as we scale our team globally. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can build and coach a high-performing recruiting team while staying close enough to the work to jump into critical searches, collaborate with hiring managers, and solve sourcing challenges in competitive and emerging talent markets.

You'll own the strategy and execution behind how Copado attracts, evaluates, and hires talent across technical (Engineering, DevOps, Product), Go-To-Market (Sales, Marketing, Customer Success) and Corporate functions. You will partner closely with Total Rewards, People Ops and People Business Partners on the talent strategy, programs and processes; and People Business Partners on organizational design, building high performing teams and career development.

What You'll Do

  • Own Copado's end-to-end talent acquisition strategy, aligned to annual headcount plans and board-level growth targets
  • Build, manage, and develop a team of recruiters; set clear goals, coach on pipeline quality, and create career pathing within the team
  • Lead Employer Branding and build talent pipelines centered around New Orleans
  • Personally own or closely oversee recruiting for executive and other high-priority/confidential searches
  • Drive sourcing strategy for hard-to-fill technical roles (Product Management, DevOps & AI engineering, etc.) and GTM roles
  • Define Copado's campus recruiting strategy, including target schools/markets and headcount allocation across the intern class
  • Own TA KPIs: time-to-fill, offer-accept rate, source-of-hire mix, cost-per-hire, diversity pipeline metrics, hiring manager satisfaction
  • Continuously improve recruiting process, interview design, and scorecards in partnership with Talent Acquisition Ops
  • Evaluate and manage external vendor relationships (contractors, agencies, sourcing tools) as capacity needs dictate
  • Serve as a trusted talent advisor to senior business leaders, building strong partnerships to understand their organizations, anticipate talent needs, and align recruiting strategies to the growth and scale of their teams
  • Bring market insight, sound judgment, and a point of view that influences talent decisions and positions Talent Acquisition as a strategic thought partner to the business
  • Serve as a key member of the People Leadership Team, partnering closely with People Operations, People Business Partners, and People Development to deliver an integrated People strategy
  • Help translate annual People Team priorities into shared outcomes, ensuring our approach to attracting, developing, and supporting talent is connected across the employee lifecycle

What We're Looking For

  • 8+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including 3+ years leading a recruiting team, ideally in a high-growth B2B SaaS or PE/VC-backed environment
  • Track record hiring across both technical and go-to-market functions, including hard-to-fill or specialized roles
  • Experience building or scaling recruiting in new geographic markets
  • Strong compensation and market-data fluency; comfortable benchmarking across multiple regions
  • Experience partnering with an ATS (Rippling, Greenhouse, Lever, or similar) and comfort working closely with a TA Ops/systems counterpart rather than owning that infrastructure directly
  • Executive presence — able to run confidential searches and advise hiring managers and executives directly
  • A bias toward building scalable process without losing the human/candidate-experience side of recruiting

Nice to Have

  • Experience managing a global team and setting hiring strategies for distributed teams and in new markets
  • Experience in a PE backed, enterprise software company
  • Familiarity with DevOps, developer tools, or platform engineering hiring specifically
