About the role


The Executive Vice President of Business Development and Strategic Partnerships will be the driving force behind Core Education’s most ambitious expansion initiatives. As a key member of Core’s executive team, you will architect transformative strategies, expand Core’s footprint in the higher education market, and elevate our client relationships to unprecedented levels of impact. Collaborating with Presidents, Boards, and institutional leadership, you will position Core as a trusted strategic partner for long-term prosperity by leveraging Core’s unique expertise across its three business segments: Technology Solutions, Financial Solutions, and Revenue/Academic Solutions.


What you'll do


  • Architect and Execute a Growth Vision: Redefine how Core engages with higher education institutions by designing innovative sales, channel, and partnership models that deliver measurable impact.
  • Lead Transformative Partnerships: Cultivate and oversee high-value relationships with institutional leaders, positioning Core as their go-to partner for long-term growth and transformation.
  • Lead all aspects of corporate marketing and communication.
  • Shape Client Engagement Strategy: Build frameworks that ensure unparalleled client retention, satisfaction, and success, setting a benchmark for excellence in the sector.
  • Drive Market Leadership: Spearhead initiatives to keep Core at the forefront of higher education trends, leveraging insights to refine offerings and create market differentiation.
  • Foster Cross-Functional Excellence: Align Core’s business segments to deliver integrated, high-impact solutions that meet institutional needs.
  • Deliver Results at Scale: Oversee multi-million-dollar growth initiatives that expand Core’s market presence and directly contribute to institutional transformation.

Qualifications


  • Growth Architect: 20+ years of leadership experience in strategic growth, client engagement, or business development, with a proven track record of scaling multi-million-dollar enterprises.
  • Executive-Level Communicator and Relationship Builder: Extensive experience fostering strong working relationships with Presidents, Boards, and institutional leadership. Skilled at navigating high-stakes conversations, aligning diverse stakeholders, and driving strategic goals.
  • Visionary Strategist: Adept at crafting and executing bold strategies that redefine industries and create sustained impact.
  • Higher Ed Trailblazer: Deep understanding of the higher education landscape and a history of helping institutions navigate complex transformations.
  • Innovative Relationship Builder: Skilled at establishing and maintaining trust with C-suite leaders, translating their goals into actionable growth strategies.
