About the role

At Core Education, we are seeking passionate Admissions Counselors who are eager to make a difference in the lives of prospective students. As a full-time Admissions Counselor, you will meet and exceed the enrollment goals of our partnered Mid-Size colleges and Universities. Your mission is to take a learner from their initial interest to enrolling into the best program/degree/graduate degree that fits their educational journey towards a rewarding and successful career. We believe in the power of meaningful conversations and personal connections to create a positive student experience. 

What you'll do

  • Achieving Enrollment Goals: Take ownership of meeting individual enrollment goals set by the Student Enrollment management team. 
  •  Building Relationships: Establish strong rapport and develop meaningful relationships with prospective students through various communication channels. 
  • Creative Problem-Solving: Utilize your creative problem-solving skills to overcome obstacles and guide potential students seamlessly through the enrollment process. 
  • Leveraging Tools: Make efficient use of all the tools provided by the company to streamline the enrollment journey for students. 
  • Nurturing Prospects: Follow up diligently with prospective students to understand their intent to enroll and provide necessary support. 
  • Brand Representation: Serve as a representative of Core Education with integrity, ensuring that the institution's brand and reputation are upheld in every interaction with potential students. 

Qualifications

  • Education and Experience: bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of successful experience in for-profit education sales. Successful experience enrolling students without TIV funding is necessary. 
  • Metrics-Driven: Demonstrated success in a metrics-driven environment with a focus on achieving tangible results. 
  • Sales and Customer Service: Strong background in sales and customer service, with a record of accomplishment of providing exceptional support. 
  • Higher Education Familiarity: Prior experience in higher education ais required. 
  • Language Skills: Fluent verbal and written communication in the English language. 
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency utilizing a higher education tech stack to manage student engagement and enrollment is required. This includes CRM, softphone, and online scheduling tools
