What will the Creative Marketing Specialist do?
The Creative Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing and executing creative marketing initiatives that support Coterie’s growth across agency partner and digital distribution channels. This role combines strong creative storytelling with digital marketing execution to amplify Coterie’s brand, generate demand, and enable partner success.
This position will create compelling content and visual assets across multiple platforms including digital campaigns, social media, website content, partner enablement materials, and sales collateral. The ideal candidate is an organized and collaborative marketer who can manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a consistent brand voice and delivering measurable results that support Coterie’s mission of making small business insurance effortless.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write and edit marketing copy across digital channels including social media, email campaigns, blog content, website pages, video scripts, and sales collateral such as one-pager, product overviews, and onboarding resources.
- Design digital graphics, templates, and print marketing assets that adhere to Coterie’s brand guidelines and support external and internal stakeholders.
- Support creation of multimedia content including video, webinar assets, and short-form digital content.
- Produce creative content that communicates Coterie’s value proposition to agents, brokers, and partner platforms.
- Collaborate with marketing peers to execute multi-channel marketing campaigns targeting agency partners, embedded partners, and small business audiences.
- Support email marketing, digital advertising, social media, event marketing, and partner marketing initiatives.
- Contribute to campaign planning, messaging development, and creative asset production.
- Maintain a digital content library of marketing assets and sales tools and ensure proper repositories, version control, and archival systems.
- Contribute new creative ideas and campaign strategies that drive brand growth and partner engagement.
- Perform other marketing projects and initiatives as assigned.
Required Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Advertising, or related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in marketing, content, or creative production role.
- Experience creating digital content, marketing campaigns, and visual assets.
- Proficient experience with tools such as:
- Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Canva, or equivalent design tools
- Marketing automation platforms
- CRM systems (Salesforce and Hubspot experience preferred)
- Website CMS platforms
- Microsoft or Google productivity tools
- Experience in insurance, fintech, or insurtech industries is preferred but not required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Basic knowledge of HTML and website management is a plus
- Basic understanding of UI (User Interface and UX (User Experience) principles
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to produce clear, engaging content that aligns with brand voice.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret marketing performance data.
- Collaborative team player with strong organizational skills.

Our interview process:
Our hiring process generally consists of 4 phases. The goal is to provide an opportunity for us to learn more about our candidates while allowing them to get to know us as well!
- Phase 1: Qualified candidates will first meet with a member of our People Operations team for a phone interview. This discussion is a high-level conversation to understand more about your background and interests and for us to share more about Coterie and the position.
- Phase 2: Selected candidates will be invited to meet with our Hiring Manager for a 2nd interview via Teams video. This interview is designed to be more detail oriented and allows you to learn more about the role and expected to be 30 minutes in length.
- Phase 3: Top candidates will be invited to participate in an experiential exercise interview. This will include a project provided in advance along with a 1-hour interview conducted with our hiring manager and may also include 1:1 interview with additional team members. This series is expected to be 1-2 hours in length.
- Phase 4: Final candidates will be invited to meet with a member of our senior leadership team. This interview is expected to last 30 minutes in length

- Annual salary estimated between $75,000-$90,000 based on national data. Candidates who meet all the minimum requirements and possess additional relevant experience, as outlined in the job description, may be considered for a salary above the midpoint of the above range. Salary is based on internal equity; internal salary ranges; market data/ranges; applicant’s skills; prior relevant experience; degrees or certifications, etc.
