What will the Integration Sales Manager do?
As an Integration Sales Manager at Coterie, you will play a vital role in leading our efforts to provide small business insurance solutions through various partners and platforms. You will be a part of our Growth team, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to integrate Coterie’s products, address technical challenges, and contribute to product development and success.
Responsibilities:
- Lead technical presentations and discussions with partners about Coterie’s products, focusing on how they meet their specific needs.
Serve as the primary point of contact for partners to implement technical solutions related to Coterie’s Quote API. Provide troubleshooting support for ongoing integration needs. - Act as the subject matter expert (SME) on Coterie’s API product, both internally and externally, guiding partners through technical queries and solutions.
- Collaborate with the VP of Digital Experience and other internal teams to prioritize new product features, bug fixes, and overall product roadmap.
- Lead API product testing and assist in feature testing as Coterie rolls out new features to ensure quality and functionality.
- Make data-driven decisions to achieve production results and contribute to business goals and objectives.
What you need to have:
- 5+ years of experience in a sales engineer role or a customer-facing API implementation role, demonstrating expertise in technical solutioning and troubleshooting.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with partners, acting as their trusted advisor.
- Strong collaboration skills to work with both external partners and internal teams.
- Ability to bridge the gap between technical and business language, speaking confidently to both developers and business leaders.
- Experience working with third-party APIs, including testing using tools like Postman.
- Knowledge of API payloads, responses, and general API troubleshooting.

Our interview process:
Our hiring process generally consists of 3 phases.
- Phase 1: Qualified candidates will first meet with a member of our People Operations team for a phone interview. This discussion is a high-level conversation to understand more about your background and interests and for us to share more about Coterie and the position.
- Phase 2: Selected candidates will be invited to participate in our PDP survey and meet with our Hiring Manager for a 2nd interview via Teams video. This interview is designed to be more detail oriented and allows you to learn more about the role
- Phase 3: Top candidates will receive an invite for our final interview series via Teams video. This series will include an experiential exercise project (provided in advance), 1:1 interviews with selected team members and a culture focused interview. The final series is roughly 1.5-3 hours in total but can be scheduled over a few days for flexibility.

- The salary range for this position is estimated between 110,000-130,000 based on national data. Candidates who meet all the minimum requirements and possess additional relevant experience, as outlined in the job description, may be considered for a salary above the midpoint of the specified salary range. Salary is based on internal equity; internal salary ranges; market data/ranges; applicant’s skills; prior relevant experience; degrees or certifications, etc.
