This role is ideal for someone who’s naturally organized, thrives with structure, and wants to build and manage scalable compliance processes that support internal teams, external partners, and long-term business growth. If you bring solid insurance compliance experience—especially in commercial lines—and take pride in accuracy, follow-through, and continuous improvement, we want to hear from you.
- Manage the company’s external licensing program by overseeing documentation, executing agreements, and ensuring all active partners, producers, and agencies maintain current, accurate licensing in compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
- Maintain overall account compliance for external partners in alignment with Coterie’s operational and legal requirements, supporting and tracking all regulatory licensing actions, including renewals, updates, and changes affecting partner accounts.
- Support the Contract Management Program by filing and tagging contracts accurately and collaborating with Business Owners to ensure all contracts stay compliant with company standards.
- Help design, deploy, and continuously improve company-wide compliance programs to ensure we consistently meet evolving legal regulations, industry standards, and internal policies.
- Support the monitoring system for external audits from carriers, partners, and Departments of Insurance across departments; track deadlines, coordinate document collection, and work with teams to remediate audit findings.
- Support compliance efforts by assisting People Operations with rolling out and assigning mandatory trainings and building a system to track and audit completion.
- Partner with legal, operations, and external stakeholders to address compliance questions and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
- Take the lead on department projects and programs as assigned by leadership, driving improvements and ensuring timely delivery.
- Pursue personal and professional growth through continuing education, certifications, and in-house training opportunities to stay up to date in the compliance and insurance fields.

- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance, insurance regulations, and compliance requirements at both the state and federal levels.
- Familiarity with compliance audit processes, contract management, and regulatory filings.
- You’re a self-starter, passionate about creating simpler internal insurance operations procedures.
- Expertise with Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel, SharePoint, Power Automate
- Experience with contract lifecycle management or contract management software
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, responsive to time-sensitive customer inquiries
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure
- Ability to analyze customer data and identify trends
