About the role
The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for creating and managing the finite production schedule, overseeing the implementation, optimization, and maintenance of COUR’s incoming ERP system, and maintaining proper material inventories for operations. This role is integral to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the COUR production facility. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in supply chain, ERP management, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration.
What you'll do
Finite Production Scheduling
· Creating and maintaining a rolling finite production schedule for internal COUR production as well as activities related to QC testing and equipment calibrations.
· Maintain WIP and finished goods inventories at target levels to ensure product availability.
· Monitor actual output versus the Master Production Schedule. Identify gaps and adjust production plans as necessary.
· Generate and report key planning assumptions and internal metrics to monitor production performance.
· Support the S&OP process and assess performance against the Master Production Schedule.
ERP Optimization & Maintenance
· Assist in the implementation and serve as supply chain lead for ongoing management of the COUR ERP system.
· Subject matter expert on master data fields, their use, and the governance of all data related to operations and supply chain.
· Prepare and update policies and procedures to support new and existing COUR ERP processes.
· Ensure quality and consistency of master data that supports supply chain and operations processes.
· Act as the primary point of contact for management of the ERP system for supply chain and operations teams.
Materials Planning
· Determine required materials and generate purchase requisitions to support the master production schedule and minimum safety stock levels.
· Monitor the integrity of Bills of Material and inventory accuracy.
· Identify, manage, and communicate risks to minimize impact to COUR production schedule.
· Collaborate with internal functions to forecast, plan, and facilitate the availability of direct and indirect materials.
Cross-functional Collaboration
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, or a related field.
· 4+ years of experience in supply chain planning, purchasing, and/or master data management, preferably in a regulated manufacturing or biopharmaceutical environment.
· Deep understanding of materials requirements planning.
· Strong Microsoft Excel skills
· Familiarity with GMP, FDA, OSHA, and other relevant regulatory standards.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on delivering results.
