Fulfillment Center Operations Clerk

About Cozey

At Cozey, we’re all about empowering possibilities in your home and making furniture shopping as easy and enjoyable as possible. Our thoughtfully designed, stylish furnishings adapt to evolving lifestyles, combining innovation with a commitment to great value and customer service. As a fast-growing, online-first brand, our success is driven by a team that shares our passion for redefining the furniture experience.

We are currently looking for a FC Operations Clerk for our new fulfillment center at 62 Ferndell Street, South Granville NSW, Cozey's first home in Australia. This is an excellent opportunity to actively participate in the early days of Cozey's Australian chapter and help build a strong customer-centric culture from the ground up.

The Opportunity

This isn't your average warehouse job. As Cozey's first hire in Australia, you'll be part of a founding team building our fulfillment operations from the ground up at our South Granville facility. You'll work directly alongside our Country Manager and a tech specialist in the early weeks to set up systems, receive our first containers, and establish the processes that will define how Cozey operates in Australia for years to come.

If you're the kind of person who thrives on variety, loves checking off a mix of big-picture projects and hands-on tasks, and wants to leave their fingerprints on something new, this role was built for you.

What you'll be doing

Fulfillment Centre Setup & Early Days

You’ll play a key role in bringing Cozey’s new fulfillment centre to life. In the first weeks, you’ll help build the foundation for smooth, safe, and scalable operations.

  • Support the setup of the warehouse space, including racking, packing stations, labelling areas, and safety signage
  • Receive and process Cozey’s first inbound containers, helping establish clear and reliable receiving procedures
  • Contribute to the creation and documentation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for core warehouse activities

Day-to-Day Operations

Once up and running, you’ll be hands-on with the daily flow of goods, helping ensure orders move through the warehouse accurately, efficiently, and safely.

  • Execute core fulfillment activities including receiving, picking, staging, packing, and shipping
  • Unload and process inbound containers using an electric forklift (LF class HRW licence required)
  • Perform quality checks on inbound and outbound products to ensure Cozey’s standards are met
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and proactively flag any discrepancies
  • Ensure outbound orders are labelled correctly and meet accuracy and quality expectations
  • Help keep the warehouse organized, safe, and compliant with WHS regulations

Projects & Continuous Improvement
As an early team member, you’ll have real ownership and influence over how things are done.

  • Identify operational challenges and suggest practical, thoughtful improvements
  • Take ownership of small projects such as pallet organisation, returns processes, or labelling standards
  • Communicate with carriers and logistics partners to support smooth inbound and outbound flows
  • Support the hiring, training, and onboarding of new warehouse team members as Cozey Australia grows

We'd love to hear from you if you have

  • A valid HRW Forklift Licence (LF class, NSW): this is essential for the role
  • At least 2 years of experience in a warehouse, fulfillment centre, or distribution environment
  • Experience with quality control processes is a strong plus
  • Exposure to a WMS or warehouse scanning tools is an asset
  • A builder mindset where you’re energized by startup environments, comfortable with ambiguity, and excited to create and improve processes, not just follow them
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to follow, execute, and help document multi-step processes
  • Proactive communicator: you surface issues early and come with ideas and solutions, not just problems
  • Comfortable wearing multiple hats and adapting as priorities evolve
  • Physically able to spend extended periods standing, moving, and lifting items up to 22kg
  • Hands-on, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment

What we offer

  • $30–35/hr depending on experience, paid weekly
  • 12% superannuation paid on top of hourly rate
  • Full-time, 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday
  • Standard hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
  • Paid overtime when required
  • A true ground-floor opportunity: you’ll help build and shape Cozey Australia’s operations from the very beginning
  • Direct mentorship from the Country Manager, with real ownership and decision-making from day one
  • Clear career growth opportunities as the Australian team and operations continue to scale
  • A customer-first, team-first environment where people support each other and take pride in what they build
  • A fast-moving, collaborative culture that values initiative, accountability, and continuous improvement
