About Cozey

We are looking for a skilled and resourceful Senior Back-End Software Developer to join the rapidly expanding Cozey team. We are seeking a builder with outstanding problem solving skills, who is excited to be part of a growing Canadian start-up with very large ambitions.

Being a part of the Cozey tech team is more than writing code, or executing against our roadmap. We are looking for individuals who are builders, and problem solvers - who want to have a direct impact on ideating, and creating software solutions that improves and streamlines Cozey’s entire backend operations.

What you'll be doing

• Be responsible for full cycle development, including coding, testing, debugging, and deploying software, and features that streamline Cozey's backend operations
• Help maintain and scale dev ops infrastructure to support growth
• Assist and work closely with CTO and stakeholders to help analyse, design and build software solutions to improve operations
• Lead junior developers, and help improve code integrity throughout projects

We'd love to hear from you if you have

• 5+ years of experience working with Node JS, and related frameworks
• 5+ years of web development experience working with Javascript, React JS and Next JS
• 2+ years experience working with Shopify & Shopify Plus. Solid understanding of Shopify APIS (Storefront, Admin, etc)
• Experience building large scale enterprise applications 
• Experience in DevOps, Redis, Queuing is a nice to have
• You have expert-level understanding of Shopify’s technical limitations, workarounds and demonstrate a clear understanding of a the clear technical aspects of Shopify
• You have an expert-level understanding of Shopify’s Admin System, including shop creation, launch, and management.
• Resourceful, builder mindset, strong problem solving and learning skills
