Reporting to the Fulfilment Center Manager, the Fulfilment Center Clerk, Returns supports the day-to-day processing of returned furniture products in our new warehouse located at 8191 Ch. Montview, Mont-Royal, Québec H4P 2P2. This role is hands-on and focused on accuracy, efficiency, and quality, ensuring returned items are inspected, processed, and handled according to Cozey’s standards. The Clerk works closely with warehouse teammates and cross-functional partners to support smooth returns operations and a positive customer experience.
What you'll be doing
- Receive, unload, and inspect returned furniture to ensure accuracy and compliance with quality standards.
- Process returns through inspection, restocking, and product disposition (BIS, refurbish, donate, or dispose) following established procedures.
- Accurately document return outcomes and flag quality or product issues to the appropriate teams.
- Assist with organizing inventory, storage optimization, and maintaining accurate stock records.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized returns workspace at all times.
- Support order preparation when needed (picking, labeling, staging).
- Collaborate with Warehouse Operators, Logistics, and Customer Happiness teams to resolve return-related issues.
- Follow SOPs and contribute suggestions for process improvements and efficiency.
- Perform other related warehouse and fulfilment tasks as required.
We'd love to hear from you if you have
- 1–2+ years of experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or logistics environment.
- Ability to work physically for extended periods (standing, lifting up to 49 lbs / 22 kg, working in variable temperatures).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes consistently.
- Comfort working with inspections, quality checks, and basic documentation.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in quality control, returns processing, or furniture handling is a plus.
- Experience in small teams or start-up environments is a plus.

- 40 hours/week with paid overtime.
- Monday to Friday (Day shift : 7AM to 3:30PM).
