FP&A Analyst

Cosmetic Physician Partners (CPP) is building the premier network of physician-led medical aesthetic clinics in the United States, focused on long-term partnership and growth. We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented FP&A Analyst to support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis across a fast-growing, multi-site healthcare services platform. In this role, you’ll partner closely with Finance leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to translate data into insights that drive decision-making, improve performance, and support CPP’s strategic objectives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting
    • Collaborate with the finance and operations team to develop, maintain, and improve financial planning models, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning for a multi-location clinic environment.
    • Support scenario planning and sensitivity analysis to inform decisions on growth initiatives, investments, and resource allocation.
  • Performance & KPI Analytics
    • Conduct thorough analysis of financial results, trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs), delivering clear insights and recommendations to senior management and business stakeholders.
    • Identify drivers of performance (revenue mix, utilization, labor efficiency, marketing ROI, COGS, etc.) and highlight actionable opportunities.
  • Reporting & Executive Communication
    • Assist in preparing and continuous improvement of financial reports, dashboards, and presentations that communicate performance, variances, and key findings in a clear, executive-ready format.
    • Develop standardized reporting that improves visibility and consistency across the organization.
  • Close Support & Variance Analysis
    • Support monthly/quarterly/annual close processes by analyzing financial results, preparing variance analyses, identifying trends, and surfacing risks/opportunities early.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership & Data Integrity
    • Partner with cross-functional teams to gather inputs and validate assumptions, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and strong financial governance.
    • Help improve financial models, tools, and processes to enhance FP&A efficiency and decision support.
  • Ad Hoc Analysis & Strategic Projects
    • Execute ad hoc analysis and special projects (e.g., cost optimization, pricing analysis, service-line profitability, expansion support), providing recommendations aligned with CPP’s long-term growth strategy.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or a similar analytical role (multi-site services, healthcare, or high-growth environments preferred).
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and core FP&A processes.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (financial modeling, large datasets, reporting automation).
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to present insights to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and financial reporting/BI tools is a plus.

Preferred (Nice to Have)

  • Experience supporting multi-location operations and/or partnering with operational leaders.
  • Experience building dashboards and automating recurring reporting.
  • Comfort working with imperfect data and improving processes over time.
