West Michigan Plastic Surgery, one of our valued partners, is looking for an Aesthetic & Wellness Provider (PA/NP) to join their fast-growing, state-of-the-art clinic located in Portage, MI.

About the Role:

 

An exempt position responsible for practicing medicine with physician supervision including conducting consultations, injections, treatments, examinations and writing prescriptions.  Within physician oversight and in a collaborative mid-level relationship, the PA/NP exercises autonomy in medical decision-making within clinic protocols and provides a broad range of medical/aesthetic services.

 

Work Schedule:

 

This is an onsite position, scheduled for a minimum of three and up to four days per week during standard daytime office hours. We believe in maintaining a healthy work-life balance while ensuring business needs are met.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Performs high-quality Neurotoxin injections (e.g., Botox, Dysport), dermal fillers, PRP, laser treatments, and other advanced aesthetic procedures with precision and expertise.
  • Sells and promotes the use of medical grade retail products to patients as part of the practice’s MedSpa offerings.
  • Participates in promoting the practice via marketing events, monthly specials, educational opportunities, IG posts, FB, marketing, etc.
  • Cross sells to other departments within the practice such as, but not limited to; surgery, laser & skincare treatments, wellness, HRT, weight loss, Coolsculpting, etc.
  • Triages patient calls and evaluates patient problems with physician. Responds to emergencies including use of CPR
  • Documents patient information and care in electronic medical record daily.
  • Operates medical equipment and/or computer hardware/software as required for consultations, physical exams and minor surgery
  • Ensure patient satisfaction through consistent follow-up care, maintaining clear communication and addressing any post-treatment concerns to foster long-term relationships and repeat visits.
  • Provides consultations to assess patient needs and goals, providing tailored skincare recommendations, advising on appropriate MedSpa services, and suggesting retail skincare products.
  • Maintain meticulous and up-to-date patient records, including treatment details, consent forms, photographs, and follow-up care, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Provide clear instructions and guidance to patients regarding medical care, pre-treatment, and post-treatment protocols, ensuring they are fully informed and comfortable with their treatment plans.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control procedures, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for both patients and staff. Comply with clinic policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations.
  • Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating future legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
  • Accept full responsibility, authority, and accountability for providing excellent patient care, adhering to the highest standards of professionalism and ethical practice.
  • Demonstrate strong brand loyalty and actively promote the clinic’s services and values, both individually and as part of the team, ensuring a positive experience for every patient.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues, management, and other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth operations and high-quality patient care.
  • Monitor inventory levels of injectable products, skincare products, and other supplies. Assist with ordering, stocking, and ensuring products are stored properly.
  • 18. Ensure treatment rooms are well-maintained, clean, and organized, adhering to infection control and sanitation standards.

Qualifications:

  • Current NP/PA licensure in the state of Michigan. Employee will maintain and keep licensure and credentials up to date and current. Employee will participate in continuing education and training. Current CPR certificate required.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience as an injector in a MedSpa, dermatology, or plastic surgery setting is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a clinical or bedside hospital setting is required.
  • Expertise in administering injectables, including neurotoxins and dermal fillers.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to educate patients and collaborate effectively with the medical team.
  • Meticulous attention to detail in treatment administration, patient assessment, and documentation.
  • Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree and successful completion of accredited physician assistant or nurse practitioner program.
