Director of Communications – Maternity Leave Replacement (10-Month Contract)

Overview 

Cosmetic Physician Partners (CPP) is seeking an experienced communications leader to oversee the execution of our corporate communications, social media, influencer, and event programs during a 10-month maternity leave. 


The Director of Communications will manage a high-performing team and act as the primary communications partner for CPP’s network of aesthetic clinics across the U.S. This role is highly strategic but requires someone to roll up their sleeves – focused on leading the team, supporting clinic relationships, and ensuring cohesive, brand-aligned communications across all clinics. 


Key Responsibilities 

  • Communications, PR & Events 
    • Lead execution of CPP’s communications and PR roadmap across corporate and clinic channels. 
    • Manage press releases, media outreach, and storytelling to strengthen brand visibility and thought leadership. 
    • Direct event communications and support clinic teams in executing launches, open houses, and community activations. 
    • Research and share emerging trends, social content inspiration, and best practices  
    • Develop playbooks & training tools to help clinics capture & create content, strengthen community engagement, and drive patient acquisition.
  • Brand, Social & Influencer Leadership 
    • Oversee CPP’s social media and influencer strategy to ensure alignment with clinic priorities. 
    • Provide strategic direction and creative oversight to the social media team, ensuring content reflects clinic brand tone and objectives. 
    • Guide influencer strategy, including partner selection, campaign direction, and performance tracking across the network. 
    • Ensure cohesive corporate brand storytelling across all corporate digital and social platforms, amplifying local wins and best practices network-wide. 
  • Measurement & Optimization
    • Monitor and report on social media metrics and event performance. 
    • Identify key learnings and share insights to support continuous improvement and alignment across teams. 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field. 
  • 8+ years of experience in communications, PR, or marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity. 
  • Proven ability to lead communications, brand, and event programs across multi-location or multi-brand organizations. 
  • Strong relationship-builder with experience supporting cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams. 
  • Organized, proactive, and able to balance oversight with execution. 
  • Experience in healthcare, aesthetics, or beauty industries is an asset. 
  • Proficiency with analytics and media monitoring tools.
