Production Specialist / Delivery Driver

The Production Specialist/Delivery Driver supports daily production operations and ensures safe, timely delivery of chemical products to customers. This role requires strict attention to safety protocols, regulatory compliance, and accurate recordkeeping, while also maintaining excellent customer service during deliveries.

 




Responsibilities

Production Duties

  • Assist in the preparation, blending, packaging, and labeling of chemical products in accordance with company procedures and safety standards.
  • Operate production equipment, pumps, and material handling tools safely and efficiently.
  • Conduct quality checks on finished products and maintain batch records.
  • Monitor raw materials and finished goods inventory levels, reporting shortages to management.
  • Maintain a clean, organized production area in compliance with ISO/OSHA/EPA standards.

Delivery & Logistics

  • Safely load, secure, and transport chemical products to customer sites using company vehicles.
  • Follow all DOT and hazardous materials (HAZMAT) transportation regulations.
  • Provide courteous, professional service at delivery sites, including obtaining required signatures and documentation.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues promptly.
  • Assist with warehouse activities, including receiving, staging, and stocking materials, when not on delivery routes.




Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1–3 years of experience in production, manufacturing, warehouse, or related field (chemical industry experience preferred).
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; CDL with HAZMAT endorsement, and tanker endorsements preferred or willingness to obtain.
  • Knowledge of DOT, OSHA, and chemical handling safety practices.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., operate forklifts/pallet jacks, and work in a warehouse/production environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and safety compliance.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.




Work Environment

  • A combination of production facility, warehouse, and driving/delivery routes.
  • Exposure to chemicals, fumes, heat, and noise with proper PPE provided.
  • Regular lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods are required.
