Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis

We monetize over 12 billion monthly music streams and have collected over $150 Million in previously unclaimed revenue for artists and labels. Job Summary:


We are seeking a strategic professional with operational experience who can influence the organization and drive results.  As the Manager of FP&A, you will be a key leader in driving Create Music Group's financial planning and analysis efforts as we scale rapidly. Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will oversee and enhance the FP&A function to deliver data-driven insights, improve financial processes, and support high-profile M&A activities and fundraising initiatives. This highly visible role focuses on contributing to strategy and creating value for a high-growth music and media company.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to support decision making, scenario analysis, deliver business unit results, ensure transparency and clarity, and instill confidence among key stakeholders
  • Collaborate with teams across the group, including Music, Media and M&A teams to gather insights, validate assumptions, and deliver financial guidance on key initiatives
  • Support with capital raising activities (equity and credit) including scenario planning, sensitivity analysis, and covenant compliance
  • Partner with operational teams, including data analytics, to monitor performance metrics and identify growth and efficiency opportunities
  • Work closely with M&A and Accounting teams to ensure seamless integration of newly acquired assets following the acquisition date
  • Prepare materials for Board meetings, Investor presentations, and Leadership discussions
  • Learn and utilize our Planful CPM tool to consolidate financials and create customizable reports and dashboards to track performance and present to Leadership
  • Manage and mentor the FP&A team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s in Finance or a related field
  • Minimum of 4 years relevant work experience in transaction services, corporate finance / investment banking, and/or private equity
  • Advanced excel modeling and financial analysis experience required
  • Knowledge of private and/or growth equity is a plus
  • Ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
  • Experience with FP&A tools and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Planful, Tableau) is a plus


Pay Scale

  • $130,000 - $150,000/annually
