Job Summary
Create Music Group is looking for a passionate, organized, team oriented intern to join our A&R Research Team for the Spring '26 semester. This role will assist in trending research tasks while learning the ropes of contemporary digital royalties collection.
Responsibilities
- A&R Research - Discovering new artists and creators using both personal research and software.
- Providing the digital rights team with extensive YouTube research and identifying monetization opportunities.
- Gathering YouTube data and creating analytics on potential signees.
- General administrative support for our A&R team as necessary.
Qualifications
- Familiar with and passionate about hip hop music, culture, and content.
- Well-versed in internet culture & social media platforms, and enjoys consuming/studying YouTube and TikTok content.
- Driven to pursue a career in the music/entertainment industry, preferably with relevant internship or work experience.
- Team player with great communication skills, and the ability to manage time wisely and stay laser-focused between tasks.
- Must be enrolled in a university or vocational program and continue to be enrolled for the duration of the internship, as well as be able to provide documentation in order to substantiate the receipt of credit for participation in this internship (Graduates are not eligible for this internship).
Program Details
- Start Date: Spring Semester, 2026. Mid-January to February preferred.
- Location: Los Angeles HQ, must be able to the office at least 1 day per week (Tuesday/Thursday)
- Length: Approximately 3 months
- Schedule: 10–20 hours per week (flexible around school commitments)
- Unpaid, for academic credit credit only- Students must be able to provide proof of credit in order to begin the internship.
