Qualities required: 

  • Develop and execute Wine Program and oversee and manage all wine operations, programs, and processes for the restaurant.
  • Conduct comprehensive training including and quarterly testing to assess the teams’ proficiency and retention 
  • Develop and maintain vendor relations
  • Analyze all alcoholic beverage costs and sales by restaurant on a daily, weekly, monthly and annual basis to optimize sales and profit
  • Work with Partner(s) to help achieve operational objectives
  • Manage and maintain the overall conditions of restaurant and equipment 
  • Maintain proficiency in job functions of all FOH operations management positions and/or provide active back-up support when business needs require
  • Partner with management team to interview, hire, onboard, train, schedule, supervise and develop wine team
  • Managerial FOH 2-5 years, Michelin experience strongly preferred
  • Managerial and leadership skills
  • High Energy. 
  • Understanding of Luxury hospitality
  • Warm and welcoming to both staff and guests
  • Must have exceptional skills in guest services as well as staff leadership
  • High functioning with an ability to multitask
  • Must have an exceptional knowledge of food and service.
  • Operational skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, as well as accounting and cost-management
  • Knowledge of Toast, Tock, CRM Programming
  • Strong decision-making capabilities
  • High communication, collaboration, and delegation skills
  • High functioning command of the English language, as well as basic knowledge of relevant languages in the field of wine.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain financial plans
  • Ability to motivate and lead people, and hold employees accountable
  • Strong working knowledge of operational procedures
  • Model and promote teamwork across all teams
  • Use tact and good judgment when dealing with challenges pertaining to guests, vendors and employees, and respond with patience and courtesy
  • Work a variety of days and shifts (including early mornings, late nights and weekends) at multiple sites with or without overnight travel, as needed
  • Move and lift up to 10 pounds, frequently move and/or lift up to 25 pounds, occasionally move and/or lift up to 50 pounds


The pay range for this role is:

110,000 - 120,000 USD per year (Atelier Crenn)
