Qualities required:
- Previous bar back or restaurant experience.
- Experience in high-end hospitality or fine dining establishments preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Reliable and punctual with flexible scheduling availability; evening and weekend availability required
- Must be 18+ years of age.
- Basic knowledge of spirits, wine, and beer.
- Food safety certification or willingness to obtain.
- Bilingual capabilities (English/Spanish) a plus.
- Have excellent time management skills.

Essential Functions:
- Maintain bar cleanliness and organization throughout service
- Stock and replenish bar inventory including spirits, beer, wine, garnishes, and glassware
- Assist bartenders with ingredient preparation and cocktail garnish prep
- Assist waiter with set up
- Ensure ice bins are consistently filled and properly maintained
- Change kegs and maintain draft beer systems
- Clean and sanitize glassware, bar tools, and equipment
- Receive and organize beverage deliveries
- Conduct inventory counts as directed
- Prepare fresh juices, syrups, and cocktail components
- Cut and prepare garnishes according to established standards
- Maintain proper storage and rotation of perishable items
- Deep clean bar areas, including equipment and storage spaces
- Maintain cleanliness of bar mats, towels, and cleaning supplies
- Empty trash and recycling bins regularly
- Assist with opening and closing procedures
- Report maintenance issues and equipment malfunctions
- Support bartenders and waiter during peak service periods
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff
- Assist with special events and private functions as needed
- Maintain professional appearance and demeanor at all times
Salary Range: $23-26/hour; full-time hourly position, part-time available
