Job Summary:

 

The Senior Project Manager, Strategic Initiatives will support Cristcot’s inaugural ulcerative colitis (UC) therapy launch with an initial focus on new product launch readiness and subsequent post-launch optimization. This role partners closely with stakeholders across the organization to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget, while providing critical support to the Director of Project Management on high-impact corporate strategic initiatives.

 

Primary Relationships:

 

  • Within Cristcot: The Senior Project Manager, Strategic Initiatives works closely with cross-functional teams across R&D, Regulatory, Marketing, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, and Commercial to drive successful product launches and strategic initiatives.
  • Outside Cristcot: This role collaborates with external partners, vendors, and consultants to ensure alignment on timelines, deliverables, and launch readiness requirements while representing Cristcot’s project management standards professionally.

 

Primary Job Responsibilities:

 

Lead product launch readiness and corporate strategic initiatives by overseeing cross-functional timelines, managing risks and dependencies, tracking KPIs, facilitating decision-making, and driving post-launch reviews to ensure successful execution and continuous improvement.

 

The activities of the Senior Project Manager, Strategic Initiatives will include:

 

Product Launch Readiness & Post-Launch Optimization:

  • Oversee launch plan timelines across the enterprise, focusing on critical path tactics and detailed functional deliverables.
  • Actively track progress, risks, and dependencies, proactively identifying and resolving blockers to keep initiatives moving forward.
  • Monitor and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for launch readiness and post-launch performance
  • Facilitate efficient meetings that drive decisions, clarity, and accountability through meeting materials and engagements with stakeholders
  • Coordinate launch readiness reviews and go/no-go decision gates across functions.
  • Manage dependencies and ensure alignment of training, collateral, and operational deliverables.
  • Lead post-launch reviews to capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement.

Corporate Strategic Initiatives:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans for corporate strategic initiatives as assigned.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to align objectives, deliverables, dependencies, and milestones.
  • Proactively manage risks, issues, and cross-project dependencies across multiple projects at once.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and decisions clearly to leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Support change management and adoption of new tools, processes, and scalable ways of working.

 

Skills and Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with PMP certification required.
  • 7+ years of relevant project management or operations experience, preferably within commercial, corporate, or operational functions.
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects in a regulated or matrixed environment (pharma, biotech, medical device, or similar strongly preferred).
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a lean, fast-paced organization.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex work into clear, actionable updates.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and execution-focused.
  • Able to influence without authority and build trust quickly.
  • Bring structure where it adds value and flexibility where it matters.
  • Experience with Smartsheet
  • Pragmatic, solutions-oriented, and calm under pressure.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
