Job Summary:  

The IT Manager will be instrumental in supporting Cristcot in our exponential growth as we bring our inaugural product to the market. This role will build relationships with both on-site employees and remote employees to enable high productivity.

 

Primary Relationships:

  • Within the company, the IT Manager will collaborate closely with all employees and leaders to ensure the organization has the tools and access levels to perform their job duties.
  • Outside the company, the IT Manager will build strategic relationships with the outsourced helpdesk provider and other vendors.

 

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Setup and maintain on premise and cloud-based/virtual systems and servers, primarily Windows based.
  • Installation and maintenance of office technology including networking, Wi-Fi, phone, conference room equipment, etc.
  • Work with business partners to deliver automated workflow and server-based solutions for internal stakeholders.
  • Assist with development of internal databases, analytical tools and related services
  • Serve as subject matter expert for server-based system initiatives and implementations.
  • Manage third party support providers to ensure adherence with SLA’s and maintenance of user satisfaction.
  • Provide desk side support for user IT systems including: Laptop/PC and peripheral hardware, MS Windows and basic Linux/Mac/mobile OS’s.
  • Business and scientific applications (MS Office, Adobe, AV, and other more specialized software as needed).
  • Networking support including identifying issues with network infrastructure and escalating to the vendor when needed.
  • Other general support and troubleshooting.
  • Setup, move, and decommission of user computers and peripherals.
  • Configuration of user phone lines and devices.
  • Use the Service Desk platform to prioritize, update and manage service and incident requests.
  • Triage service requests to the appropriate assignee.
  • Ensure user and asset inventory is accurate in the Service Desk and other systems.
  • Manage user accounts in Azure Active Directory / Entra ID and other systems including creation and deletion of users.

 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required; BS/BA highly preferred
  • 4-6 years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience with usage and support of MS Office applications
  • Experience with administration of Microsoft Azure, Microsoft VM’s, virtual and physical networking and storage management
  • Experience with Office 365 and SharePoint Online
  • Experience with Windows client and server operating systems
  • Familiarity with ITIL and other service frameworks a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in biotech industry a plus
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
