Job Summary

The Director, Marketing Managed Care and Channel will lead marketing initiatives for managed care, channel including patient services and specialty pharmacy of Cristcot’s inaugural ulcerative colitis (UC) therapy launch, ensuring alignment with brand strategies and delivering transformative outcomes for patients. A lot of effort goes into generating demand for a new product, we will also put significant effort into easing the concerns of getting a prescription fulfilled. The Director, Marketing Managed Care and Channel will work with partners to develop marketing programs that support demand generation while also maximizing the fulfillment to prescriptions that gets to patients and supporting the appropriate persistent use of our products.

 

Primary Relationships

  • Within Cristcot, the Director, Marketing Managed Care and Channel will collaborate closely with the marketing, the market access, sales, medical, market research and data science.
  • Outside Cristcot, the Director, Marketing Managed Care and Channel will engage with external vendors, the patient services hub provider and the specialty pharmacies.

 

Primary Job Responsibilities

The Director, Marketing Managed Care and Channel will build effective marketing programs that drive revenue and growth for the business through our channel partners.

 

The activities of the Director, Marketing Managed Care and Channel will include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead the promotional efforts and messaging that supports product reimbursement, patient services, fulfillment and adherence.
  • Develop a deep understanding of HCP office, patient and payer opportunities and challenges in getting prescriptions filled and delivered to patients.
  • Work very closely with the patient services, channel and market access teams to ensure seamless and consistent communication to all stakeholders for product fulfillment.
  • Collaborate with the market access team to develop patient assistance programs to minimize patient hurdles in accessing our medicines,
  • Strong understanding of marketing and sales strategies to effectively develop and manage multi-channel marketing programs.
  • Excellent analytical skills to evaluate the success of different marketing channels and strategies, making necessary adjustments for optimal performance.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with market access, sales teams, channel partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Project management skills to oversee various marketing campaigns, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Digital proficiency, including familiarity with content management systems, analytics tools, and digital advertising platforms.
  • Ability to lead and influence others, driving alignment and execution across various teams and partners.
  • Creativity and innovation for developing unique, compelling marketing initiatives that stand out in the market and attract customers.
  • Build relationships with industry professionals and journalists.
  • Keep abreast of new product launches and ensure sales team is up to date.
  • Design and implement effective training programs for partners.

 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • BSc/MSc degree in Marketing or related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years marketing experience.
  • Proven work experience as a Channel Marketing Manager, Marketing Manager or similar role.
  • Excellent understanding of the full marketing mix.
  • Highly creative with ability to think out of box.
  • Experience in identifying target audiences and devising campaigns that engage, inform and motivate.
  • Previous product launch experience.
  • Proven ability to develop brand and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills with a Confident and dynamic personality.
  • Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented, has excellent project management skills, and is an expert in building and maintaining relationships with partners and stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
