About the role


We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Analyst to join our team, focusing on billing and financial analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, excellent analytical skills, and a proven track record of managing billing processes and financial reporting. Expertise in software licensing procurement is essential for this role.


What you'll do

  • Oversee and manage billing processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Analyze financial data and generate reports to support decision-making.
  • Monitor project budgets and expenditures, ensuring alignment with financial goals.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other departments to ensure accurate billing and financial reporting.
  • Identify and resolve billing discrepancies and financial issues.
  • Develop and implement financial controls and procedures to improve efficiency.
  • Prepare financial forecasts and budgets for ongoing and upcoming projects.
  • Provide support for audits and compliance activities.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or an MBA in Finance.
  • At least 4 years of experience in billing, financial analysis, or a related role.
  • Strong proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Familiarity with reporting tools.



Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
  • Certification in accounting or finance (e.g., CPA, CMA).
  • Experience in project management or a related field.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific billing processes and financial regulations.
  • Expertise in software licensing procurement
