Job Summary


The Compliance Coordinator supports the Compliance Department in monitoring and maintaining franchise compliance across the Cruise Planners franchise network. This role assists in ensuring that Franchisees operate in accordance with the Franchise Agreement, as well as the company's policies, procedures, and brand standards. The Compliance Coordinator helps identify and address potential compliance issues, provides administrative and operational support to the Compliance team, and serves as a point of contact for Franchisees regarding compliance-related inquiries. This position plays an important role in protecting the integrity of the brand and supporting the overall success of the franchise system.


Responsibilities

  • Provide support to franchisees via email and phone by responding to and resolving franchisees' compliance-related inquiries and requests within required SLA time frames.
  • Complete data entry tasks by entering and updating franchisee information in the Cruise Planners® CRM system, removing data for terminated franchisees and associates, processing associate applications, and reviewing and approving franchisee banking information.
  • Maintain electronic filing systems and ensure proper document retention by filing and saving all franchisee paperwork and related franchise documents.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to help resolve compliance-related concerns.
  • Send and process various agreements and forms as assigned.
  • Assist with printing and mailing all Compliance related correspondence to franchisees.
  • Verify the accuracy of franchisee data within the Cruise Planners® CRM system.
  • Send weekly compliance status emails to new franchisees and franchisees coming out of suspension.
  • If assigned, perform legal entity transfers for franchisees.
  • Attend the bi-monthly franchisee STAR University training on behalf of the Compliance Department to answer compliance questions.
  • Handle all franchisee phone number and address change requests.
  • Perform any other tasks and projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in business administration, legal studies, compliance, or a related field preferred; relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of degree
  • 1–3 years of experience in compliance, franchise operations, legal support, or a related field preferred
  • Ability to travel to Fort Lauderdale to attend Franchisee Training Program every other month


This is a hybrid role (Remote: Mondays and Fridays, Onsite: Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays)
