About the position:

Due to the continued national and international growth at Cullen Jewellery, we are expanding our workshop team and want you to be a part of it!

We are after a passionate and dedicated polisher to join our wonderful in-house team in Kew. We have an ever growing team of diligent jewellers, setters and polishers on board with us, in an environment which welcomes and fosters continual feedback and development. With state of the art equipment at your disposal and a supportive and encouraging team around you, this is a rare opportunity to join an incredible team at a very exciting time for the company.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Polishing rings and other pieces of fine jewellery to the Cullen Jewellery standard;
  • Polishing claws once they have been set;
  • Polishing any scuffs, marks or scratches from rings that have been resized;
  • Performing both ultrasonic and steam cleaning of jewellery;
  • A small amount of Rhodium plating on occasion; and
  • Any other ad hoc tasks as directed by the workshop manager

What you'll bring to the role:

  • Experience in a jewellery polishing setting, or equivalent;
  • The ability to work autonomously and perform repetitive tasks with a high level of attention to detail;
  • Strong time management and verbal communication skills;
  • Ability to adapt to processes, procedures and pick things up quickly;
  • Sound understanding and commitment to following health and safety regulations;
  • A positive can-do attitude;
  • Ability and willingness to take on constructive feedback and direction; and
  • Knowledge of different precious metal properties, and/or passion for the jewellery industry!
