About the position:


As Casting Specialist, you will oversee and operate Cullen Jewellery’s casting process in our new US facility. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to a master of casting who’s ready to not only run high-quality jewellery casting operations, but help design and build the processes from the ground up.


This role is instrumental in ensuring precision, consistency, and quality in the crafting of our ethically sourced fine jewellery. You’ll work closely with our Melbourne-based workshop management team to exchange feedback, refine results, and uphold our world-class standards.


Key Responsibilities include:

  • Oversee and operate all aspects of the jewellery casting process
  • Build and refine casting systems and workflows as part of a new US-based operation
  • Create and manage alloys and troubleshoot any casting-related issues
  • Train and mentor junior casting staff to build a high-performing team
  • Collaborate with workshop management in Melbourne to maintain quality and feedback loops
  • Own the setup and implementation of casting equipment and tools, including vacuum, centrifugal, or induction systems

What are we seeking?

  • Significant experience in jewellery casting within large-scale operations
  • Expertise in precious metal alloys and casting problem-solving
  • Proven ability to lead operations independently with strong communication skills
  • Excellent time management and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with casting machinery, vacuum, and centrifugal or induction systems
  • Familiarity with 3D printing, wax tree building, and investment making
